Surround Yourself with Greatness

The people you hang around define who you are, and some may disagree, but I believe it's true. If your friends only turn up and don't pay attention to their success, then what does that say about you. Most of the time the people you are surrounded by should be like minded in some areas. Now don't get me wrong everyone has their own paths of life, and everybody is not going to be on top just yet. Though, you should be working and your crew should be too, or doing something productive with their lives. If you are the one who has a good job and car, and your friend is sitting around doing nothing with no job and no aspirations, what are you doing to be surrounded by that. How about helping them out by taking them to a job fair and getting them active. You can either move on from laziness, negativity, and simple mindedness, to being around people who are about their accomplishments. Though, to start off being that person you can help out a friend who is low, but build them up to then later see greatness is all around you. For me I usually grasp toward people who have qualities that are similar, and I have some who have differences, but it creates a balance. I have my church family and blood family who all sets a positive tone, my love who sets good vibes, but the vibes help us better each other which ties into my sistership. Then, to get into my creative side I have my Weirdeye family who all are different, but it's a melting pot where you can be yourself, and everyone supports each other. So to surround yourself with greatness you need a mixture of folk, but everyone should be genuine, focused, and about their grind. So look at yourself and see what type of people you are hanging around. Ask questions such as "Do I benefit from their actions?" "Are they a reflection of me?" "Do they support or motivate me?". This can be questioned to the group of friends around you or to a specific friend, because if they do not show these qualities then you address it or cut them off. Figure out what's best for your life so you can be great, and others around you can be too.
